Technical Regulations & Classes
This is the part that can seem rather overwhelming, but put simply, the MSCC Speed Championship is open to any 4-wheeled Morgan, provided the chassis and engine were of a type supplied by the Morgan Motor Company. So any specification, from a 1936 Series 1 up to a present-day model, is eligible.
The championship operates on a power-to-weight (PTW) scoring system to enable any Morgan of any performance to compete equally, with each individual car scored against a specific venue target time based on their PTW data.
There are currently 12 specification classes to allow cars of similar performance to compete together for annual class trophies.
The SpeedMog Championship Technical and Sporting Regulations for the current season are below. However, if you are considering joining our happy band then we strongly recommend you contact Simon Baines at simon_baines@ntlworld.com, who will be able to guide you through these details and offer advice.
